Anaud Tabet , ein Writer und Organisator aus Lille ( Call 911) den wir im Jahr 2010 während des Cologne Graffiti Exchanges zu Besuch hatten, lässt uns folgende Informationen über ein Gaffitibattle im November 2011 zukommen.
I told Maurice i organise the B.I.G. (international graffiti battle) in Lille during the Hip hop dayz festival in november. It will take place Sunday 27th November, from 13h to 18h in Lille.
The rules are easy:
-16 writers selected from everywhere (selection by a jury, the candidates have to send a registration file with pictures / Registration before 10thNovember)
-1st round: 2 hours: the jury (Sper, 123klan/ Storm, Heavy Artillery) selects a thema and then the battle begin.
Every writer has the same cans and the same space to express theirselves (we provide everything).
At the end of the 2hours, the jury selects the 3 best for the final.
-Final: 1h30, new cans, new thema, same rules.
There is 1000€ of price money (800 for the winner, 200 for the 2nd, the third wins spray)
The battle is followed by Graffbombz magazine, they’ll announce the event in the next edition (november) and make a focus on the number of february.
I hope that a lot of german writer will come and participate to the battle. Last year „Semor“ (he is german) won, we appreciate german style.
